Obedience Classes

Obedience doesn't have to be boring. It is possible to have fun and work on manners at the same time.


If you have a new dog, start their training on the right foot!  Focus will be placed on teaching important life skills through impulse control games  and positive reinforcement. Basic commands and leash skills will also be covered.  

Class schedule:  June 12, 19, 26 , July 6   6:30-7:30pm

Do you struggle with a dog who over-reacts on leash when seeing other dogs, people, cars, etc? Have you begun to avoid walking your dog because of these issues? Then this class is designed for you and your dog!  You will learn about how the emotional part of your dog’s brain works, and how using a combination of De-Sensitization and Counter-Conditioning can benefit your dog greatly.

Prerequisites: Basic obedience and no previous history of aggression or a severe bite 

towards a person or another dog,

Leash Reactivity Level ll is designed to prepare you and your dog for the “real world”, which means we’re taking our class to the Great Outdoors! We'll encounter common triggers like: other people/dogs, kids on skateboards/bikes, and wildlife. This class will build on the skills learned in Level l and provide new distractions to help you work through them. Challenge your dog and yourself while enjoying some fresh air with a great group of people!

Prerequisites: Leash Reactivity - Level 1

Class Schedule: June 8, 15, 22, July 6    10:00 - 11:00am

Cost: $85 (GST included)

Location: Will be provided prior to the start of class.

*** Classes will be held in our spacious Training Facility which will have ample room for dogs and handlers.***
